Clark with the stand up triple. Good start, still a LOT of game left
-
At least Clark is trying.
-
I'm just tired of seeing everyone else's 3B make routine/incredible plays while ours either kicks the ball all over the place or throws it into the opposing bullpen
-
Clark scores on the passed ball. 4-1 no outs in the top of the second

29 degrees, 21 degrees wind chill
This absolutely affects the players. Not saying it excuses it

Both teams are playing on the same field last I checked. Definitely adds a wild card element though.

The SEC should require Kentucky and Missouri to play their first 2 SEC series on the road. Not that it really would have helped us (nor that the SEC should make special rules to help us anyway), but it just seems like a sound policy.
If nothing else, it's a bad look for the conference to have a stadium this empty.

I would think the team that practices in the colder environment would have an advantage in a colder environment. Again, not making an excuse bc we suck in any environment

They do, but if you have mental toughness then it is moot. Everyone there is cold.

Agreed, probably gives them a slight edge in that regard.

Game one for a freshman or first timer, sure, weeks into the season??should inspire you.
I think Polk has said this before, but I?ve never heard a fan of anyone else repeat it.
It?s a dumb assertion. If anything, the visiting team should be intimidated, not the home team.

I don't think so. Esp for pitchers trying to find release point when you don't feeling in fingers

Ynetema is not a weekend starter. He's not even a mid-week starter. He's a lefty specialist and that's it.

But everyone is cold. All their hands are numb. Not like we have people on either team from Scandinavia or Canada. If there are any, it?s a small amount.
It?s mental toughness.

Ledbetter makes the catch, but comes up limping.
-
Great catch by Ledbetter. Hope he ain't banged up.
-
Great catch by Ledbetter. He's struggling at the plate though. I can't remember the last time he's had a meaningful hit.
