Absolutely pitiful start. Not to mention they stole second and third and it WASNT CLOSE. And that?s with Highfill back there.

Is it the cold that is freaking our pitchers out? Not that that's any excuse, just trying to come up with an explanation. A bunch of pitchers this series have struggled relative to their usual.

Also I don?t want to hear anymore of the talk about how it?s ?hard to play at home because it?s a lot of pressure to play in front of our fans?. We aren?t competitive in front of 120 people against a mediocre team.

Note that if not for the horrendous fielding error, we would have gotten out of the inning only down 2 rather than a seemingly-insurmountable 4, even with the pitching meltdown.

That's true, but it all starts with pitching. Throw strikes, we might not be down a run, give up walks get spanked.
