GREAT hiting by clark. Hit a bomb last time up and the bases were juiced, yet still had the discipline to not try to do too much and just stuck his bat out there for a relatively weak single. THAT is knowing the situation

He grew up a lot tonight.
Earlier I said he was good but wasn't a legit Friday guy, and that's still probably true, but it won't be for long. The kid's special, especially from the right side. And he's gritty.

Crazy Hunt was a Saturday starter. He's got good stuff but hasn't shown the command once this season to be anything more than a middle reliever with a short leash that you do NOT put in with RISP, as he's not consistent enough to get you out of those jams.
But like we just saw, give him a clean slate and he'll probably get 3 outs before the mistakes plate a run. Not sure why the coaches thought he was ready to be a starter...
