Difference in game is 3 pointers. Pitt 61.5 on 8of13. State 35.7 on 5of14. Should have a 9 point lead

What a moron
It was a 2 for 1. Not ideal, but not terrible.

I guess he wanted a 3 shot attempt in his NCAA tourney appearance.

The 7 footer is so weak he flops on any bump

They shot 36% from 3 in the regular season. They are shooting 68% tonight. Pure luck

We have a terrible 3 point defense. I’m not sure if it’s the scheme or what happens, but we just seem to let other teams have guys wide open. This kind of reminds me of the Vandy game, but luckily we are shooting a little better than we did against Vandy so we are still in it

Tolu needs to play 95% of the second half.

Alright, second half Tolu is going to have to play more and keep the fouls and fake fouls to a minimum. We keep this within 3 at the half and we dominate them physically in the second half. Mathews, we need you.

I read an article where Jans said McNair thinks he is a three point shooter. What a joke. Sit him down and let Tolu play every minute of second half.

I have no idea why we are collapsing on the penetration and leaving their shooters.

Down 1 at half. Not bad considering we haven?t done anything with Tolu.

The giving us wide open 3s and sagging on Tolu. Just hit the open 3.

There is zero reasons to collapse. Anticipate the kick and let only the big man shift. The trailing man goes to their big on the pass.

They can’t keep making threes at this pace. We need to make them pay when they miss

Exactly. They have 3 guys in the paint. Davis and Shak have 100% authority to take the open shot. Let everyone else crash.

I think he just perfected the art of flopping so it looks like a foul.

So Tolu has been nonexistent, if we get within 3 ft of them it's a foul, and they're shooting 58% from 3. All that and we're down 1. I'll take it. Need to get Tolu more involved, get Cam's head out of his ass, and tell Reed and McNair if they take another 3 we're leaving them in Dayton.

Only terrible because he is the last guy on the court that should do that, and we didn?t get a good look on the last possession either.
