Recruiting in the NIL era is interesting. I'm glad they're figuring it out. Or whatever their plan was.

Odd that Ole Miss had so many in state guys commit so early. Not sure if they're speculating who we might add or what the deal is there. While in the meantime we're having big camp commitments.

I think the biggest thing IMO is getting Daniels to flip. Plus we need to clean out the state with the class of 2025. If we can do those two things I think we will be in really good shape talent wise. We have an elite QB prospect in Parson. And if we can pair him with Daniels who is an elite RB prospect, and add in multiple four star receiver prospects from the 2024 and 2025 class that should be a really talented offensive group. It looks like our o-line prospects are good too in terms of numbers unlike when Hevesy was here. I'm not worried about stars with offensive linemen because they're all projects unless they are freak shows like Charles Cross.

It looks like we're recruiting like we typically do on defense. For the 2023 class I think we added some solid guys that we can redshirt and develop for the most part although Isaac Smith may play as a freshman. I really like Kelley Jones. Just need to add some four star guys on this side of the ball for 2024 and 2025 and that should give us some good depth down the road.

I love the Tuscaloosa pick up. Long and rangy-fits the mold we established with Banks that has continued with Emerson and Forbes and Banks/Richardson this year.

Steve said the other day that we had waited to really make a push on some guys. I thought he was just trying to tow the company line. It seems he may have been right, though. We still aren?t going to get everyone, but I think we are in a much better spot than we thought.
