Doesn't do you much good to practice anymore when next year will be a whole new team

Maybe the NIT will go away. Who wants to be in a consolation tournament.

I'm perfectly happy to go to the NIT with a young team. I mean, I guess happy isn't the right word, but given that we're in a position where the NCAA is off the board, I'd rather take the experience for a younger team and hope you keep most of them.

If it's a veteran team, or a team that you know is about to have a ton of turnover, I don't know. Would probably depend on how much money we lose by participating.

Depends on the financials of doing the NIT. I believe if it doesn?t ?cost? the university money to participate, then you should do it.

Maybe they think the NIT is beneath them.
