Looks like a good matchup for us. Hopefully, we can pull it out

Best player is probably Jamarius Burton. Scores around 16 a game. Not a big 3 pt shooter and doesn't really get to the line much either. This is his 3rd team in 5 years.

Bo Bounds favorite player Blake Hinson is also on their team. Former OM player who careered it against us in 2019 Also scores around 16 a game. We'll need to run him off the 3pt line and we'll neutralize him pretty easily.

Frederiko is their center. Gangly 6'11 kid out of Finland(think Varnado). Only weighs about 220 so we'll need Tolu to bully him. He also gets into foul trouble so that helps us.

Their other two starting guards Cummings and Elliott are role players. They both are pretty good 3 pt shooters. Elliott shoots at over 42% so we'll need to keep on him

Sibande is the only guy off the bench that plays major minutes. Decent 3 pt shooter, but he's not going to shoot a whole lot.

They're not very deep. Most games they're only going to play 8-9 players so we can gas them with our pressure D.

If we can get by them, there's a pretty good path to the Sweet 16.

So, it sounds like they are not a prolific 3 pt shooting team, but probably a lot better than us. I say pound it inside to Tolu and let Cam drive the lane and either lay up or dump off to someone else. I'm wondering if they have gone up against an intense D like ours. Hope we can disrupt their 3 bangers.

Like most games this year if we work the ball down low and attack the rim we will win. If we chunk up a bunch of 3s we will lose.

Hard to "attack the rim" when all 10 bodies are in the paint.

You'd think Tolu would be able to just overpower him, but I guess you'd have thought that about Varnado too.

Not near the shot blocker that Jarvis was nor does he have the defensive presence. He creeps up the lane far too often so Cam should have some opportunities to go back door for some dunks. Of course that is dependent on him working out of whatever funk he has been in the last 10 days.
