What has Ark and Aub done this year to warrant their spot so high?

This or the NIT would not have changed my opinion on this season, nor the staff. This is a massive turn around. Glad they made it though!

I hate this play in label because technically you?re not in the field of 64. We still have to win a game before the tournament starts.. its an extra game to play..I'm glad to be in but I'd prefer to not have to win a game 1st
    Exactly

Wow.....thought Memphis was a lot better than a #8 seed.

We didn't get the credit auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky get. It's weird they value the league but not us. A&M and mizzou have seeding gripes as well

Also, name the SEC teams we beat that are a higher seed:
    Arkansas, Mizzou, and A&M.

Those teams had more Q1 opportunities. They all played in early season tournaments and neutral site one off games with Q1 teams. It also hurt us that we had to play Ole Miss and USCe twice because those were Q2 and Q4 wins at the end of the day.

I’m surprised Rutgers didn’t get in Lunardi had them around the same place we were most of the last few weeks

I've been saying this for the past few weeks. We didn't help ourselves losing to Bama the way we did either

    Yeah but he asked SEC.

Marq and TCU were massive wins for us. Drake win would have moved us up nicely too if we had gotten it.

The bubble teams always have a legit gripe. TAMU got screwed last year.

So are we claiming an NCAA tournament appearance with this seeding?

Well, it?s not the NIT and yes, we?re playing a game after the season is over by an invitation from the NCAA. What else would you call it?

And Kentucky get a better seed than aTm.
