Already tying Jans to Wichita State opening
I know it's just to get clicks, but click away.
-
I mean he's going to get a call.
Jans can coach and has history with that program.
He's going to get a call so the rumors are going to fly.

Have we ever lost a basketball coach to another school? I don't remember one (not counting Schaefer - just men's).

Easy to avoid when you hire Rick Rays

Pay jans, and let's give him more NIL.

Believe or not, there a lot of deep pockets in Wichita, but I can’t imagine he would give up SEC exposure for an AAC team.

I wouldn?t just totally dismiss the idea. Gregg Marshall turned down a Bama offer to stay at Witchita State in 2016.
Not to mention their basketball arena is named after Charles Koch who is the 14th richest man in the world.

The OM boards are in full melt down mode along with McCready telling everyone Jans is leaving no matter what cause he hates Starkville and wants out...

Mcready has been trying to link Jans to that job for weeks. I have no clue why the guy has such a hard on for hating us. Apparently some State fans said something to one of his daughters one time but damn man, get TF over it. You claim to be "Not A Fan" and all you do is get in your feels every time Mississippi State is even mentioned. He's like Liberals with Trump.

Yeah I know Koch . The difference is Jans has already ended that rumor. Gregg Marshall actually was interested in the job at Bama flew down and interviewed, but Gregg was a drama king and wanted to be bigger than Nick Saban. When he found out that wouldn't happen and he played both Alabama and Wichita State to get more money from WSU.

Went to Murray State and took Gary Hooker with him.
Believe the rumor about Jans. Heard this the nite of the TCU game. And my source would know.

Wichita St. is a pretty good basketball program. And back in the day had a powerhouse baseball team. Even when they're half ass good, they draw big crowds. Just depends on Jans himself and his wife & family. Do they like Starkvegas and the small southern town type of life or do they like the big city with tons of things to do? Only they can answer that question. Maybe we should redo his contract with a hefty increase. Mizzou just redid Dennis Gate's because they knew other suitors like Wichita would come along at some point and target him. I think Jans and Gates were hired at about the same time.
