Hold up, they threw the ball down to 2nd and then threw it back to the pitcher and our hitter gets a strike called against them? Someone didn?t reset the pitch clock and it 17ed us.

Yep. They are stupid. You want a clock? Then it should only be between innings and changes in lineup like bringing in a pitcher.

No doubt it was a screw up by the clock official, but honestly, baseball is/was the only sport where both teams get equal opportunities at offense and defense without a clock limit and it should stay that way.
