As many cracks as will be made, I would hope we'd look at him too if we were in their position. Unless there was something more than is available publicly, I'd probably be fine with hiring him. Might depend on whether he's still with the woman and what the story on her is. IF there's not a hint of prior issues from his path, I'd want to know whether she is toxic and whether they're going to continue to have a volatile relationship.

The more I think about it, the more I am not worried about Beard at OM as long as Jans is here. Jans has a team with no shooters on the brink of the NCAA tournament. You give him shooters and with the defense we play this team will be a rolling ball of butcher knives for years to come

Seems more like Sexton scrubbing the rep for Beard, by getting a school like Ole Miss buzzing about him, and then get a bigger job somewhere else.

For you older guys like me, does anybody know if Beard is related to Ralph Beard who was involved with the point shaving scandal at Kentucky when Rupp was there. Ralph had a brother Frank who was on the PGA tour for several years. I looked but couldn't find any connection. There may not be one but thought I'd ask in case anyone was familiar with the Beards.

They would hire Sandusky and the fans would fall all over themselves to send their 12 year old boys to his private camps if he could win 1 more game a year.

Lots of chatter it's a done deal. The hornets nest they're [voluntarily] kicking is going to be nuts.
If they weather it, he'll definitely win there.
