    If we lose to Vandy we don't necessarily have to get to Saturday in the SECT, but we might according how things with other teams work out

    I know you're concerned about bid stealers, but still think that's big time hedging. We are in better shape than that. We don't go from a lock with a win to needing to win multiple games in the conference tournament. It's never worked like that

    Saturday will be the biggest game for state hoops in this over 13 years. This will determine if we make the tourney barring a big Friday win in the SEC tournament

    We're not a lock.....we're in the Last 4 In or we're the first team that's safe from the play in by most projections. That's not a lock. And winning tonight does nothing for us. Our NET will likely drop due to how bad USCe's NET is. It's not about wins anymore. West Virginia is proving that. Our resume is good, but it's not head and shoulders above anyone else on the bubble.

    Correct. Win and there's no way you're left out. That'd be 4 Q1 wins and 5 Q2 wins for the year. Now is it good enough to avoid the play in?? That's left to be seen.

    If we beat Vanderbilt we are absolutely a lock. 21-10 with a NET likely in the 30s and 5 wins over tournament locks. I don't care what the projections say, the committee will look at that fondly. It would be comfortably ahead of a lot of the current bubble.

    Which is exactly what I said. But we have to beat Vandy, which was the original point.
