Way to early baseball RPI update
After our win last night, we moved up to 18th in Warrennolen RPI. Our strength of schedule is 13th so far. We are averaging scoring almost 10 runs per game.
This weekend we have games against:
Ohio State : RPI of 206 , record of 3-5 on the season , SOS of 190, scoring 5.9 runs a game.
Cal : RPI of 25 , record of 6-1 on the season, SOS of 98, scoring 5.5 runs per game.
Oklahoma: RPI of 182 , record of 4-4 on the season , SOS of 156, avg, scoring 5.2 runs per game.
Ohio State has the most dominant starter on paper that we will see. We really need to win at least 2/3 this weekend. IF we can limit the walks, I really like our chances this weekend. We have the best lineup out of all 4 teams in this tournament.
