With this being severe weather awareness week

Below are 5 videos I made last year for our Patreon site. This year we are making them available to everybody. I am obviously biased, but I think there is some good information in there when it comes to the various aspects of severe weather. They're all around 15 minutes in length of give or take a couple of minutes. So if I may humbly request when you get some free time scroll the videos below and take a listen to any that might grab your interest. I do, however, recommend, at a minimum, the last video on sheltering from severe weather and tornadoes.

Meteorological Organizations and Their Roles in Severe Weather

Types of Severe Storms and What We Look for on Radar

    Severe Weather Forecasting

Role of Storm Chasers and Spotters

Thanks for your posts. They are my go to site for possible severe weather over any network news. Do check Tupelo TV when they are in the area.

We work with WTVA, but typically we don't stop and talk to them when they have people in the field unless a specific need arises. We're tied in directly to Matt and the others while we are out. Anything we report they get immediately.

They do an excellent job also. Go to people with info for my 85 year old Bulldog Mom to call/text me that she is on the way to my aunt's storm house across the street and we better get down there! OT: Always thought "Storm House" would have been a great name for a Southern rock band back in the day. Hail State!

We had some wind in Flohood this AM. A canopy on my patio blew over, it has survived many storms.
