    Sunday Scrimmage twitter notes

    D. Jordan hit another bomb over the left field lounge.
Downs had a double and hr with an exit velo of 105.

Jordan?s homer was described as a liner. Not my description, just passing on what i saw on twitter.

Hancock and Hujsak also had RBI doubles. Highfill had an RBI single and Jordan also had a single. Yellow jersey LF for the black team had solo shot to dead center. Don't know who was wearing that jersey today.

The first 4 pitchers we threw were fr. Loftin and lo are very talented. Plus stuff. Didn't have big misses but got behind in counts. Loftin has plus plus change up. Big league pitch. He has a chance to be special. Lo is gonna be good too. Just curb the walks. Trying to nibble too much.

Chance hit the bomb to CF. He's a solid bat but may get lost in the shuffle. Hujsak doesn't have great stats in the scrimmages but he has been robbed of a homer and a double. He and Downs may rotate at DH. Both could play OF too if Jordan struggles.

Lo 95 from the right side. He 89-90 from the left. Incredible to think about.

Came to post that i just saw someone mention on twitter how nasty Loftin’s change is. That type of change up can make a pitcher with average talent a good pitcher. If Loftin has the velocity that is reported and that type of change and he is a lefty. Cross our fingers that he develops.

The coaches might need to huddle up this week and give Dohm a shot at starting a scrimmage just to see what he can do.

That might happen eventually but they're going to give others a chance first.

I could see him starting out as a multi inning reliever and if he does well with that slip into the rotation from there.
