Not much different than the last game where we were 7 of 22 from the free throw line while Georgia was 25 of 31. No matter what else you do in a basketball game you still have to be able to put the ball through the hoop when all is said and done whether its from the field or from the FT line. Unfortunately, we aren't able to do that very well.

Lord knows I get caught up in recruiting rankings, but maybe I shouldn't... does anyone know anything about chol, Myers, Scott, and/or fort? Hopefully these ratings are garbage

We were actually 21-28 at the FT line. Toulu was 4-6 and Davis was 11-13. Couldn't hit a 3 pt to save his life but he did dam good at the stripe. Dj should be sat next time he tries one from the corner. And Shak has been more cold than hot this year.

I know that it?s unrealistic to expect an immediate impact from the freshmen. Fort can supposedly score but he?s been a juco journeyman so who knows. Jans has a lot of work to do in the portal. We?ll have at minimum 7 scholarships open this year, 4 are filled with signees that leaves at least 3 transfers. At minimum we need to sign a stretch four and two guards out of the portal.

Yep, basketball is really simple - put ball in hoop. We have great athletes that make some amazing plays but we can't put ball in hoop.

We have too many that are not focused on shooting; they are focused on the move before the shot. We just throw the ball up once we make a move to basket, hoping it might go in instead of focusing on the goal and actually shooting the basketball. Watch some of our players. Some real bad fundamentals on our shooting too. Real hard to correct in college though after 12 years of bad practice.
