No coach but CML ran that, and I liked CML, but no coach we hired would run what he did. Will said if you saw a running play he called it at the line of scrimmage. You have to have some diversity.

This is so off base that I feel like you're just trolling now. Barbay's offense does not need elite talent to be successful anymore than Mike Leach's offense did. In fact, Barbay's offense will likely mask some of Will's deficiency's not to mention it will take tons of pressure off of him so it doesn't have to be on his shoulders almost every play, every game.

I say run when the alignment of the defense dictates that we run. Running for the sake of running is stupid. I like leaving that decision up to Will Rogers.

Anyway, the air raid got the ball into the hands of the running backs a lot. Why is it so important that the QB only hand it to them ?
