Yes. That's a pretty good season. So close to a great season.

Yes. That's a pretty good season. So close to a great season.
If we hadn't blown the KY game it would've been one of our top 3 seasons. Next year should be the same or better.
Yes. And will be content with that. But oh what might have been.
Yes it is. Especially with an Egg Bowl win and a bowl win. It being Leach's final season makes it memorable. Some of my favorites this season was when we beat up Arkansas and got payback on Memphis. The Egg Bowl was a good one as well- a last minute win on the road in Leach's final game. Then capped it off with a win in Tampa. If we beat Kentucky it's a 10 win season- which would have put it past 2010 and up there with 1980, 1999, and 2014 in terms of raw wins.
That's why the coordinator hire is very important. If we screw it up it's 2018 again. Hopefully we find someone that at least comes close to fitting our personnel this time instead of going in a completely opposite direction and have to watch square peg in a round hole offense again.
Overall satisfaction: B+
Bitching constant quota: A- (Never saw so much fan bitching for a 9 win season, but maybe the coaches read ED so it helped!)
Offense satisfaction: C+
Defense satisfaction: B+
Special Teams: B+
Yep
Most definitely a good season.
If anyone votes no , then just move on to another college football team
Yes it was a good season. How soon some on here forget. All the loosing seasons and NO bowl game. 10 wins would of been a great season.

Most definitely. I?d take 9-4 and winning the Egg over a 10-3 and losing the Egg. And we?ve only had one 10 win season in history.
Good point. Less than 20 years ago, it took us 4 seasons to compile 9 wins (2003-2006).
Absolutely it was a good season. It would be rare that a win over Mississippi and a bowl win is not a good season
Beat Kentucky this year? Would have been a great season
Arguably the most aggravatingly good season I have ever seen. So many what ifs if the team had just closed LSU out and shown up against Kentucky.
It's a good season for us and for 90% of the programs out there. But like others have said we were **this** close to a great season!
Yes it is. And if we can repeat this next season with a first year head coach I'd call it a great season.
Absolutely a satisfying season but also to finish strong is always important to me...winning last 3 games. There have been very enjoyable seasons in the past, but in several of those, we did not finish strong so it would leave a bitter taste. Winning last 2 can be such a program builder for going into the off season and next year. The athletic department needs to really capitalize their sales and marketing of this. I would hope that they will have Arnett and some of his assistants out on Road Dawgs and the circuit to drive enthusiasm for 2023.
