    Are players in the portal allowed to use agents?

    Players are allowed representation for NIL purposes only. Players are not allowed agents for sports employment representation until after they declare for a professional league.

    Why is this still a thing? I have no idea why athletes have to declare for the draft in the first place. If they don?t get drafted they should be allowed to return. It doesn?t make any sense.

    It definitely doesn't make sense now that they are practically pro athletes. Some of them make more money now than they will after the draft
