    Running Backs Last Night

26 carries for 149 yards(and hell we should have ran it more, especially on that 1st and 5 at midfield). Woody and Dillion are absolute warriors and we are blessed to have them!
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

Those guys willed us to the win. They personify MSU football. Marks absolutely left it all on the field and probably feels horrible today.

Love Marks and Johnson. They are better than we really get to see.

Exactly. Woody carried the offense. He also played hurt most of the night.

Those cats ran with physicality and absolute abandon. Some of the grittiest performances ever in Egg Bowl history! They literally left it all on the field! I hope they got to sleep in today.

Johnson was hurt too. Neither was jumping out of bounds to avoid contact.

The run to the left by Woody that went for 40 yards, he was absolutely flying. I don?t think I have ever seen him run that fast. I feel like he should have trucked the defender at the end of the run.

He is a legit low 4.4 guy. He was 3rd in the district in the 100m at Carver H.S. Our backs never break long runs because everyone is playing zone and all the LBs/DBs are watching the ball. If the were in man with their backs to the LOS we could break longer runs.
