I hope he's ok. I obviously had no idea he had pneumonia, but I knew something was up after the Auburn game. He couldn't string together a sentence without hacking up a lung and his eyes were glazed over. Pneumonia, especially in today's Covid world, is nothing to take lightly for sure.

I do not hate Leach nor Will. Actually I really like both of them. I have been a fan of Leach since way back when during his TT days. Will is really fun to watch when he isn?t playing scared with the ball. My favorite game of his was the Auburn comeback. Such a fun game to watch him dominate.

Just because I want our backup qbs to get meaningful snaps in a game where I could throw for 200 and win by 21 doesn?t mean I hate Will. I criticize him because he doesn?t have the arm talent to get us to where we are trying to go. This does not mean I hate him by any means. Hell, I want him to succeed. When he does well, my life is more enjoyable.

My son and I were there. Section 4. Gave away 5 of 6 other seats with us to friends. Not exactly a great game day experience.

It's not just us though - the ones at the Alabama game are awful as well. They never showed a view of the stadium so they may not have any fans there either.

I threw out Arnett's name for a reason

If the rumors are true I'd be willing to take a shot at Arnett if we can't get a good P5 coach. He reminds me of a young Dave Aranda.

Anyone willing to take Zac Arnett as our head coach right now needs to just stop. If we can't think bigger than that we need to quit playing in the SEC. He's a great DC. But right now he's not an SEC West head coach and we've got to think bigger if we want to start competing.

The SEC West would be Saban, Kiffin, Brian Kelly, Jimbo, whoever Auburn hires (or whoever Ole Miss hires), Pittman, and Arnett.

Folks keep wondering why we don't compete then come on a message board and want to hire a DC with no head coaching experience to compete in the SEC West against legit experienced coaches.

Come on people. Rumors are Ole Miss is willing to get to 10 million for Kiffin. If we aren't thinking somewhere close to that big for whenever our next hire comes around, the we need to legitimately ask ourselves what we are doing here.

All the fans who think the Mullen/Leach Baseline isn't enough are going to have to pay out the $$ to get Gundy or someone on his level to exceed it. Otherwise, we're just hoping for a coach who can average 7-5 and potentially not getting one.

Oklahoma State is his alma mater and he's making 7.5 million this year. I don't see us pulling him or any other legitimate coach unless we are willing to go into the 8+ million range and it's the right situation.
