Thanks for linking this. I was headed here to post this (but, I?m a long time reader, new poster here, so wasn?t sure if I was going to break any rules by doing so) . . .

As some of you might have seen, Spring Street Cigars in Starkville is hosting a fundraiser for The Bulldog Initiative tomorrow. Coach Lemonis will be hanging out there from 4-6, and I will be in and out all day in hopes of answering questions people might have (except for when I?m on the broadcast for the WBK game tomorrow night).

THE BIG NEWS: I have donated some of my personal memorabilia for the silent auction, including a game-worn jersey from our CWS championship run (the white 85 style), an authentic maroon football helmet with the M over S logo, and a game ball from the championship game. Hope you can come by and bid in person, but we will also be posting updates on the bids here throughout the day and will have a phone number for people to call in to bid.

ALSO - you will be able to call in and buy boxes of cigars, all of which will further help BI.

We have a brand new momentum and support, and we are going to be working to be responsive to all the things people have raised as ideas as we move forward (like on-line auctions and the like), but I hope you can join in with us the old fashioned way of personal visits, message boards, and phone calls tomorrow.

Also - please follow @BulldogNIL on twitter.

    Thanks,

    Charlie
