Pine Bluff game thread
Tolu with a quick 4 points 3 rebounds. Starting much better, excited to see this team gel but things could get nasty in SEC games when Tolu is off/foul trouble

Jans is my kind of coach so far. Loving the effort. We look like a different group this year. Keep it up, boys!

Night and day from the past few years. I love howxwe keep switching up the defenses, too. 2-2-1 press. Man, switch to zone. Guys are flying around. Our movement on offense is also refreshing.

Matthews has added some muscle. Looks good.

Ark Pine bluff barely lost to #12 TCU the other night. We look pretty dang good. I want to see some other guys step up and score other than Tolu. We know what he will bring, he's going to need help scoring

Thought it might take a few more games to comfortably assess but Chris Jans is showing strong already. He has prepared this team well and shows he can coach in game. Need some more games to assess talent and recruiting but certainly liking what we see so far.

Defense is heads and tails better than previous years. But we still can't make 3s.

Was good to see Shak and Tolu playing off the Tolu double team. Shak buried the three. If we have guys who hit the midrange and three off that double team, eventually teams will have to back out of the double team. And Tolu will have some big games with a straight up defense.

Russell, Jones & Hamilton all might help us a lot by mid year. Maybe Murphy can as well. Russell had a very impressive stretch offensively & defensively right before the half.
Stevenson is a high energy guy. He's getting after it. McNair has looked better today as well.

Seems like the younger bench guys are getting some quality PT. This will come in very handy when SEC play begins.
