Rogers missed a wide open guy.

Would rather see what Sawyer can do from get go. Else, this is what we are going to do for rest of the game.

Talent level is dropping, while our opponents is getting better. We are on a collision course with the cellar of the SEC in a few years. But we're going to hang on to mr one dimensional until we totally bottom out. Rogers will be here to witness the entire collapse while breaking all the records except for wins.

The biggest reason our offense doesn't work against good teams is Will Rogers. He can't run and he can't throw a deep ball so EVERYTHING is congested within 20 yards of the LOS. It was totally different at Washington State. If you crowded everything there then Gardner Minshew or Anthony Gordon would burn you deep. When you don't have to spy and you don't have to cover deep then everything is condensed. To make matters worse Rogers NEVER intentionally throws the ball away. He will stand in the pocket for 7 or 8 seconds if nobody is open waiting to be sacked but won't just sail one over a WR's head out of bounds to get rid of it. Its almost a no win situation.

Agreed we need a stud qb that's tall, can see the field, and throw the deep ball, and can escape.

If he could run but not throw the deep ball that would still be OK OR if he couldn't run but could throw deep that would be OK. Problem is he can do neither. Optimally he would be like Hooker who can run AND throw deep.
