i spilt screen watched both MBB & WBB last night . We hit homeruns with both coaches
my take from both games.
Both teams play hard especially on defense. Men's team still lacks that consistent 3-point threat and if Tulu gets in foul trouble or hurt we are in big trouble. Women's team has great depth Purcell may have trouble finding enough minutes for all. If both teams gel i can see the NCAA tourney in our future. When sec starts we learn a lot. i believe womans team could be sweet 16.

So far much better improvement in both teams! I like what I am seeing.

Mens team needs a pure shooter at the 2. hopefully we can find one in the off-season. Both teams are significantly better for sure.

It was awesome to see the mens team finish in the 2nd. Last year it felt like if it was a close game, the men found a way to give it away.

I am in 100% agreement in your complete post. Great hires for both programs and both are tenacious on defense. Shooting and scoring, especially for the men, should gradually improve too.
