Cohen: I'm thinking about taking the Auburn job.
Keenum: Oh, well, looks like you need to make a decision.
Cohen: Umm, well, I'm not sure. I need some time to think on it.
Keenum: Well, I tell you what John, you go think on it while we start looking for your replacement.

Keenum was in South Dakota pheasant hunting when he got the call.
Also Nellie Cohen just inherited $25M from her dad ?. Golden Flake money.

As a friend of mine told hid daughter, you can marry more money in a minute than you can make in a lifetime.

And buy me a boat. And a nice truck. And a pile of fishing/hunting gear. Once I get all that in hand it's anybody's game.

and an invitation to join Keenum in South Dakota shooting Pheasant .... and believe me it's an incredible shotgunning trip for those who enjoy ...... speaking of Shotgun - anyone heard anything out of him? Hope the old boy is OK
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

You can always get half if you decide you need to bail.

Just need to figure out how to sidestep that dastardly pre-nup.

Don?t ya? just love these pseudo power plays.
I think it is both. I think Keenum was in the back of his mind thinking about next moves. He wasn't ready to pull the trigger yet but when JC acted like MSU was the safe date to the prom and hang on while I look for a better date, Keenum would have none of that. If Keenum wasn't part way there, he would have never cut that quick.
BTW, that means Leach is in the same boat.

I don't know what your source is, but I listened to the interview on "Out of Left Field". He basically said the same things there. I don't recall him saying anything about holding the school hostage, though.
I thought Dr K explained it as professionally as he could. He took the high road and wished Cohen well. He sounded confident, and you got the sense that the "conversations" with Cohen weren't just "we wish you well".

As lawyers say, ?a prenup is a good place to start.?
