My brother loves to predict SEC football based on transitive thinking. He makes a lot of bad predictions.

Would be no progress with all that we had coming back. Actually, we would be regressing as a program because we went 4-4 in the SEC last year and we would finish 3-5 this season.
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

Leach blew his one chance to beat Jimbo in 2020! Now he's a lock to go 0-fer the rest of his career here!

Given the current thought process of
Georgia going undefeated 13-0
LSU losing in the sec title 10-3
Tennessee 11-1
Alabama 10-2
Ole Miss 10-2 ( that hurt to type)
Georgia and TN in the playoff
LSU to the sugar bowl
Alabama to an at large NY6 bowl probably the orange bowl
Ole Miss citrus bowl
Then everything else is fair game and Florida will get the gator bowl
7-5 MSU would most likely get sent to the Music city bowl to face someone like Minnesota

How did you come to this conclusion? They beat Kentucky and lost to LSU. We?d have 2 losses with their schedule as of right now.

I think most people would have said he was better until a few weeks ago, definitely in 2020

I didnt say LSU would make the playoff. Their only chance is to beat Georgia which they wont do. But they will get a top tier Sugar Bowl berth.

Kentucky is going to end up in the Music City most likely. aGAIN- we are headed to the Liberty, Vegas, or Texas Bowl
Sugar, Citrus, and Outback will be LSU, Bama, and Mississippi.
Then Kentucky and Fla will be chosen over us unless SC upsets Fla then SC will be chosen over us.

That calls for a celebration, right? Wishing for more than a low tier bowl game is ignoring our history and money, and would be unrealistic, correct? That's what I've been told on here today anyway.
Sure would hate to ruin a streak of meaningless bowl games against Tulsa, Louisville, and Miami of Ohio by taking a risk on someone that could potentially take us to the top

All this heavy duty prognosticating is giving me a headache. When does basketball start? ***

Now upsetting Mississippi changes things. But until it happens, I'm not going to even prognosticate anything with it

Do what? We've got three games left. Beat ETSU and we're 7-5. With the way things are falling in the SEC that could very easily get us in the Gator Bowl.
