If we lose this game
Hopefully Leach is smart enough to let Will know he should test whatever NFL late round/UDFA he could get this year and he will be moving on to one of the 100 QBs we have in the waiting

They won't be much better. This offense is anachronistic. The day of the statue pocket passing QB is long gone. Even Saban made that adjustment years ago.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

I think Will is by FAR the worst QB we have on roster when it comes to mobility. I think the other guys have a much better shot at being successful running this offense

You're kidding yourself. The only dual threat QB we have is still in high school.

There’s not really such a thing as a dual threat QB in this offense. Leach doesn’t want his QB to run so they’re not going to.

My point exactly. Thus, the entire offensive concept is defunct and should be abandoned immediately.

Even Leach's "disciples" like Riley and Heupel have adapted their versions of the Air Raid to incorporate a dual threat QB. Leach is one of the few that still stubbornly cling to the immobile statue pocket passing QB. It's infuriating that such a simple adjustment won't be adopted purely because Leach's ego demands he win his way, the "pure" way.

Their adjustments are about more than that. They also throw the ball down the field, we don’t.
