You're right on with this. Lane is the "Portal Transfer King" and that could help Auburn by next year.

Why the personal attack? Or do you two do this to each other? I don't pay attention. This board has gotten really bad lately with the personal attacks.

Thread Hijack: If Cohen hires Lane, does that endear him to the MSU fan base again?
ETA: I don't have any ill feelings towards him regardless. But I will definitely like him more if he gets Lane to Pine Box his way to Auburn.

He would be famous amongst State fans.

Question on Coaching searches present day. Why is Todd Monkens name never brought up for any HC positions? Heck he took over a dumpster fire before and made it respectable.

I think I saw where they have 13 million in NIl, and we have less than a million.
The NIL has probably been a major factor in leaving also.

Quinshonn Judkins grew up an auburn fan and begged for an auburn offer.
Now all those transfers that he brought into ole miss cant leave yet but, the high school recruits can.

Yep and rep. This is what gets me the most. His dream job...insomuch as he didn't have to work harder on raising funds.

To add to auburn situation
Auburn has now fired half their offensive staff including the Offfensive coordinator

Maybe for a Georgia tech job but that?s not big enough for this auburn hire
You can bet your ass auburn and Nebraska are going to both be going after splash big name hires that will satisfy the boosters .
Regarding Nebraska , I?m seeing that they are very serious about paying MAJOR money for a big name coach,

Cadilac Williams to be interm coach.. Get ready to see Tank get 50 carries Sat and numerous QB draws. Well this will get out D ready for the egg bowl/

I don't know why Auburn appointed Cadillac as interim but it seems like a former player would be in a good position to talk to players who are considering calling it a season and entering the transfer portal.
I'm not worried about him coaching but if he suits up I probably won't watch the game.

They fired 4 asst coaches today too including the OC at this rate they won't have any coaches left Saturday

Might as well they run the show. Lol
They've probably got some message board coaches too, just like we do, who could do a bang up job!

This is getting kind of like daddy ball, you have to keep these dads/boosters off the field and away from the coaching. I liked what Leach said today about a good AD : they get the funds for you and stay out of the way. auburn trade off is going to be the boosters let the president hire the AD but the boosters are going to pick the coach, it isn’t going to be Cohen making that call. They will have Kiffin at the top of their list. I think he will go to if they pony up the money.

Whiskey Pirate?I like what u are drinking. May I have some please !

Hugh Freeze does not want questions to be asked about the escorts I would imagine.
I know if I were a beat writer that covered football, I would definitely ask direct questions about the women and if they were in fact for him or his potential recruits that could easily be?..underage.
