    Leach game

That was our leach game. I just posted it in another thread but thats my thoughts. That was our game we should have won but refused to win it.

Will was terrible. And if you can't admit that, I feel sorry for you.

I love Will. I wish he would have played a good game today. He didn?t. On top of that, calling the game was terrible.

Georgia's QB scored on a trick play today. Have we run a trick play in 3 years under Leach?

This is the SEC. Best defenses in college football. There has to be some innovation and imagination to be successful

Yep this O is easy to defend. We don't even begin to stress an SECD. 30 min of film study and a few D wrinkles and you will destroy this O.

While LSU lined up 3 on the edges with the middle wide open, we are running WR crossing in the middle and Will getting sacked. Happened play after play. We never changed a play or did anything to counter LSU D moves. It is embarrassing to be this dumb and stubborn.

All quality high school football programs have a data base capability within the HUDL program. The less capable ones don't. Within the easily observed HUDL type spread sheet, data regarding swing passes or mesh plays can be inputted. The success rate or concrete conclusions are emphatically blaring in the face of the observer.

A disciplined high school football coach will deemphasize what has not been successful and replace it with anything else. A retarded high school coach will stick to his mantra of taking what is open and continue throwing against the spread sheet verified data base. A retarded high school football coach can not figure that defenses know what they are prioritizing and know that a swing pass or mesh completion will not hurt an opposition that can rally to the ball.

Against LSU, swing passes put us behind the sticks and we probably would have won if the QB launched to #4 every time the swing or mesh play was attempted. In addition to that, what could have happened if we just launched instead of running into a seven-man box? If the numbers are in the box, they aren't in the secondary. Remember, every quality high school football coach has the "Air Raid" manual?

It's my opinion that if a quality OC told Will that under these conditions, you will launch more fade passes to your Randy Moss guy we win. Instead, the program chooses to worry about throwing interceptions and staying true to the "Air Raid" manual.

That was a "Tiger Stadium" game. Our players and coaches were horrified last night. Worse than I've seen in a long time.

Guys you cannot muff a punt and drop 7 passes and win down there. You cannot repeatedly blow your chances to put them away down there. The voo doo will get you. They played a lot more man than we have seen and they physically beat our WRs asses. It is what it is. Rara as well as he played had the biggest drop of the game on that snag route. If he catches that not only is it a first we may score again right out of half.

All that said we are still 10-14 pts better than them like we were last year. That was your bad Leach game this year. Now if we lose next week all bets are off. But we are going to be ok. I am as mad as anyone that was top 10 we are State moments ever. But we are going to fight back. Look at A&M. I would still put money up saying we beat them and probably Arkansas too.

How many "leach games" do we get a year? saying that we are 10-14 pts better is really puzzling because there are no results shown, everything else is just BS. This doesn't show that they can compete in the SEC with the exception of auburn with the only worse coach / qb combo than us. I think that a lot of the drops were due to the WR's giving up because of so many poor throws that would have required circus catches to complete.

Does anyone believe that we are better than last year? I don't see any improvement, time to cut bait.

We got one last year at Memphis eerily similar if you think about it. And then this one this year.

What was Ark last year? Another Leach game? What was LSU game last year? Another Leach game.

Why does Leach get gimmie losses and no other coach does?

Hey maybe the season plays out and we win some that look unwinnable right now but Leach will not be more than a 6-7 win coach at best. That is what it is.

One of those wins best be OM or time to move on.

I'm not sure this is a "Leach game" yet. LSU is not Memphis.

I think they turn out way better than a lot of folks seem to think. While I'm not a huge fan of Kelly ... he did have pretty decent teams at ND and honestly, ND doesn't get top notch talent like they used to. Now he's at LSU with much greater talent. We'll see how it evolves during the season. At end of season it might turn out to be a "Leach game" only because everyone everywhere (including some media even Barrett Sallee) were under evaluating them. And over evaluating us compared to them. At end of the season I don't think this will be a "Leach game" in the classical sense of the phrase.

ETA: Plus, we were playing them in probably the most difficult night venue in CFB. We didn't play them at night 2 years ago.

I’m not buying we were 10-14 points better, seems to they were. Just saying. Hey I know we killed our chances, but that’s football. Good teams don’t make mistakes and drop passes like we did last night.

True, and LSU was and is a lot better than we thought.

Both during week three as well. After we were sloppy in weeks 1-2.

Arkansas and LSU were special teams games. The Egg Bowl was more of a Leach game to me to be honest with you.

We also played them in front of a spring game crowd.
