Leach will blame this on the players
-
He should start with Will.
-
Rightfully so, Will is just not the guy. But it starts at the HC, he never should have built our offense around a guy who is a walking sack

He should start in the mirror. He made zero adjustments to help the offense out while the opposing OC put his qb in a position to win

I can see the lights from the stadium if I were to go out in the yard, I live in a neighborhood with several coaches and former players

There's a consistent difference I've noticed in good coaches and poor coaches. Good coaches give all the praise to the players when they win and intentionally draw all the blame when they lose. Poor coaches take all the credit when winning and blame the players after losing. JWS and Mullen did the former, Crooms, Jughead, and Pirate do the latter. I'll let everyone else figure out what kind of coach that makes the Pirate.

Really? So Saban doesn't lash out publicly on his players? You mean Brian Kelly didn't do that in week 1? Pretty sure he did, and Saban does.

The stupidest thing we did coaching wise was running inside zone vs double edge on 4th and 1. Arnett beating his head against the wall playing 3 safeties who cant cover instead of just subbing one of our 6 CBs in to do it. Our scheme on defense will never stop a passing game. But the biggest problem was just on the offense. Drops mainly. They beat our WRs ass

Our safety play against the pass is no better than last year, but there is plenty of blame to go around tonight. Coaches and players.

You missed the entire point. If you think JWS, Mullen, or any other coach worth a damn weren't criticizing their players, I don't know what to say. The difference is they did it privately, not in the media. It's about not being an egomaniac and putting the program ahead of yourself. But feel free to continue being stupid.

We'd have won if any of the 3 happen:
1) Will plays a normal game. Not throwing behind receivers, making bad reads, looking scared- a normal game.
2) WRs didn't drop literally about 10 passes. We left about 100 yards on the field in drops. There were literally 2 failed drives where both had 2 drops in a set of downs and made us punt. 4 drops in those 6 plays...
3) we check our of the 4th down runs vs a stacked box and throw a slant. Again, see 1). We'd have gotten points an taken the crowd out.
None of those are on Leach. Literally none. The ONLY thing I can put on leach is his failure to get our RT help when dealing with Ojulare.

Absolutely correct. We crapped the bed when we had the chance to put pressure on them in the first half. But typically, we screwed it up and let them hang around and it cost us.

We have two OT's starting that are very new to the position, among other issues team wide.

And its the Coachs' responsibility to provide them with help.

Cry me a river on the OT. They are who we have. They need to get their asses in gear and man up.
