Week 3 Prediction Thread-Still Salty About 2000 edition
Well folks here is our first swing game of the year. Win this one and you have a good opportunity to come out of the tunnel Oct. 8th against Arky with a 5-0 record. I think we get it done 31-17. Rogers with a late kill shot deep ball TD to Ducking.
Rogers-385 pass yds
Jayden Daniels- 2 picks
Amount of times they mention Malik Nabors decommited on signing day-12
P.S. LSU had 5 downs
-
I hate picking our games with Leach as coach because we can lose this game by 2 touchdowns but then turn around and beat a&m and Arkansas to sleep by 14+ a piece.
Going to try to be as unbiased as possible
Hail State - 28
LSU - 26
State misses 2 field goals but LSU has to keep settling for field goals instead of TD's
-
24-12 US, WR 299 yds, everyone but the oline catches a pass. Daniels 200 yds rushing because we still havent learned to wrap up.

If Daniels has 200 yards rushing I think they have more than 12 points.

State 42 LSU 17 and 10 of those 17 come in 4th quarter.
Rogers goes for 350 with 4 Tds
Harvey gets in end zone along with Johnson and Marks.
Pickering with 2 sacks ( Lovett of all people got one for FSU) Jett knocks LSU QB out of game before halftime.
Tiger Stadium is half empty before dark…….

35-24 Dawgs Probably not as close as score indicates.
I am going with my heart and what I think should happen. I still remember 1998 and still don't know what happened and there was a bigger gap then than now in us and LSU. We've won in Death Valley twice in 8 years so it ain't the voodoo it used to be.

44-21 good guys!
I don?t trust their D to slow us down over the long haul. I think we will be locked in and just out mature them. We will not make the mistakes that we made the past two weeks. I don?t trust their offense to beat our defense. I think they get most of their yards due to us not being able to spy the QB as well as we want.
Calling it 3 made field goals.

State 59 LSU 24
Rogers 648 passing yards, 8 TDs
Jayden Daniels - 0 Picks, 4 Fumbles, 8 times sacked, 76 net rushing yards
Nabers mentions - 0. We won't punt.

Some of you guys are much more optimistic than me.
28-24 Dawgs on top

My sentiments exactly... I only hope this isn't the type of game where we win the statistics but not the scoreboard and end up saying we should have won if such and such happened or didn't happen... I think it's close but boils down to who got the breaks and bounces and made the fewest mistakes
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

MSU by enough! That's what I want.
Listening to the coaches and players have a heads up on LSU running tempo makes me more comfortable about it.
