Kelly?s Cincy teams relied on team speed and a running q b. He chose a q b who will struggle to pass, and I think most teams in the sec will try to shut down the run and dare them to pass. He made a mistake.

LSU still has the athletes and their defense could give us real trouble. FSU q b has great mobility, he could throw on the run and buy time. We can?t do that, we have to hope the o line doesn?t allow pressure, but they are going to get through at times with their talent.

Will be a tough game on the road.

Looks like their All-American WR Boutte removed all of this LSU content from his social media account last night. He doesn't appear to be wanting to "come together."

Also, there appears to be "chemistry" issues across many teams that brought in a large # of transfers. Watching the OM running back Zach Evans talking about how they "don't need no QB when he'll run for 200 yards, and Bentley will run for 200 yards, and Judkins will run for 200 yards, and Bullock will run for 200 yards." All the while, the non-transfer original players that have bled and sweated with Altmeyer feel he should be starting while the new transfers side with Dart. Gonna be interesting to see how this develops.

    That was crazy.

We get Crumedy back for LSU. Jett Johnson will play out of his mind. Jordan Davis will step up. Arnett will blitz LSU's QB ten ways from Sunday.

If LSU's defense just rushes 3 most of the night Will will carve them up like a turkey. They'll have to bring some pressure which I hope allows Will to go down field more.

It will be a good game.

Was ND not willing to match what LSU was giving Kelly? I still find that move extremely odd. He had Notre Dame the best they have been in a long time during his tenure there. He had a pretty clear path every year to a NY6 bowl every year at minimum with playoff chances several years due to an easy schedule and no conference affiliation. Sure he would have Clemson here and there but no one else in the ACC is that scary especially with FSU Miami and VT down. Now he is at LSU and has to deal with 6 SEC west teams who have all outperformed almost all the ACC teams and other teams on their schedule in the last few years. It just seems like a really strange move

BK is a bit of a mercenary and not your typical ND coach. ND has academic requirements and generally doesn’t openly cheat. LSU has no academic standards, does openly cheat and Louisiana is a gold mine of talent. I can see his logic.

Tiger Droppings blames their current situation on Orgeron being placed on low T treatment and viagra. Their O line is struggling.

Matt Wyatt nailed it on Twitter:

He said LSU pass play is called "scramble", lol.

Thought I would pop in and answer any questions you might have about our team and especially Tucson if you are making the trip down. Last time we saw the Pirate we lit him up for 52 but of course you guys are much different and we have been digging ourselves out of the Sumlin grave. Should be a fun night and hope you all can stay up late and watch

Arizona did secure one of the top portal WRs (Cowing) and a top freshman WR (McMillan). I think State will win, and will win by 2 TDS, but it isn’t the same Arizona squad as last year. Cowing had 150+ yards receiving in their game.

Thought I would check in and answer any questions about the cats or Tucson if you are coming down to the gane. Last time we saw the Pirate in Tucson we hung 52 oh him in a win. Far tougher this Saturday as we are still digging out from the Sumlin grave he dug for us.

I saw that we had a huge explosive play off a scramble. Will it be a tough game? Yep! but that's the SEC. I just don't see that LSU team handling this team.

I would think he would be more selective due to the type of scrambler he is. You send too much too often, we better hope he doesn't make it past the first level. He'll average 10 yards a carry! I think he will blitz, but he will make it selectively. Speed... outside CB like with Forbes or Banks

I see we are now -8 vs AZ. That -14.5 line disappeared quick. I guess Vegas wanted to get some money in on AZ. I'd bet the line will be -10 by kickoff.

10 already?! May hit -12 by kickoff. I think we win this game by at least two touchdowns.

Fanduel had it at -8.5 this morning while I was traveling through Tennessee and I loaded up. It's now -11.5.

Also toyed with a couple of Fanduel's less than normal options because they looked fun. Gives you the option to do a ton of teasers other than the typical +6,+6.5,+7.

    Took a -6.5 4 team teaser at +6600
    Bama -27 at Texsa
    State -15 vs. Zona
    UTk -13 at Pitt
    Kansas State -14 vs. Mizzou

They also have every number from +3 to +14 point. Feel like that 14 point swing makes it cake in NFL bets. Wonder how many games just naturally end in that 28 point window around the spread.

My uncle lived there and I visited several times before he died. Tucson is not a red neck city. Now if you get out in the desert you probably on to something. You be surprise how much they think and dress like us. They talk different but pretty much the same values and way of thinking.

Jayden Daniels was their ONLY offense last night, and some of their fans were calling for him to be benched

If Jet was my son I would be worried sick for his health. Talk about reckless abandonment. He is not scare to hit or take a hit from anyone.
