Don’t give up a score here. I wish we would put the starters out there… kind of

Really need a pick 6 to put the finishing touches on this.

Imagine the score if we didn't let off the gas and kept going.
Lots to learn from this game and build on.

Good to get the first one under our belts. Now let's go out to Arizona and kick their ass for 4 quarters!

Arnett and Leach will have plenty to chew the team out about this week. The rain delay got us ready to play PAC12 After Dark.
When we are locked in mentally we look good. It?s time to become great. HailState

Pretty much the same team as last year, but a couple more receivers in the mix. No sacks and no picks against Memphis comes out to about 2-6 in the SEC and we may lose in Tucson next week.

A lot of the mistakes out there were mental, Walley not running a timing pattern right leading to a pick. Busted coverages in the secondary, Watson forgetting about covering the back etc. Those are all correctable.
There definitely was a let down after we got way ahead. Second team D didn’t play well. Some of this may be sitting there for 5-6 hours and mentally checking out.

That’s quite an extrapolation. I think the D showed what they are capable of the first half. What did Memphis have ? Two rushing yards and 27 passing yards ?

Some get this man some antidepressants.
If you can't see the improvements on both sides of the ball, you're blind. Did we lose focus at the start of the 4th quarter? Sure. But we have way more talent on offense and Secondary is much improved.

we definitely need to do a better job rushing the passer. If we don't, I can see a whole lot of problems ahead.

This is one of the best opening games I've seen us play. Very disciplined, very few penalties. Sure we lost some focus after we got the big lead but that was about 5 hours into game that should've already been over. Yeah it sucked to see us give up some points at the end but all in all it was a great start to the season.

I must be blind then. Cause I saw a team that never touched their qb and never really played tight coverage. I also saw a team that couldn?t get home when we blitzed too.
We played really conservative on our throws tonight. Rogers is telegraphing his short throws too. They should have had 3 picks on short throws, and SEC teams will have those picks, two of them being pick 6s.

Jett Johnson is playing like an all conference player. He is always in the right position.
