That sounds funny to us but Ole Miss and the media will probably put him out there.

Easy schedule but they will get exposed. I agree.

Altmeyer is starting next week, just heard it on sec now .
Also looks like Robby ashford is the QB at auburn
State, A&M , and auburn had huge weather delays today .
It?s only week 1 but we had the 3rd best performance in the sec west considering opponents behind Alabama and Arkansas
JT Daniels should?ve went to cincinatti because there were so many times cincy?s qb missed wide open receivers for touchdowns in that game. I think Cincy would?ve beat Arkansas .
Sec power rankings before the lsu game tonight are
1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Florida
4. Arkansas
5.Tennessee
6. Mississippi state
7. Texas A&M
8. Kentucky
9. Auburn
10. Missouri.
11. South Carolina
12. Vanderbilt
13. Ole miss
14 . Not active

OM starting Altmeyer is strange to me. Seems like lane would've split time yesterday if he wasn't sure, and then give the one that got the heads up all of next week's reps vs a bad opponent.

Lane is gonna do Lane stuff.

It has me wondering if yesterday was more just following through on a recruiting promise, and they actually think altmyer is the better qb.

From what I've heard Altmeyer is the most consistent passer. I would not be surprised if Altmeyer becomes the starter after next Saturday's game.

Agree. I see Arkansas as about what they were last year #20 team in the country. Very close to us in ability. I think we are better this year but I expect a game like last year. I’d put LSU , Tenn and Uk right there also.
We can be really good when focused and not making mistakes, but we aren’t good enough and don’t have the depth to play sloppy or coast.
One bright spot, Arkansas has some issues in their secondary. That’s going to get exploited if they can’t get that fixed up.

Altmeyer is a better runner too.

That and if you think about Lane doesn't want one or the other to transfer out and leave them with zero QB depth.
I know Ole Miss lying to a recruit is shocking.

This time next year they'll be talking about their next new shiny toy- AKA whatever QB they get out of the portal.
