    Vin Scully is gone...RIP

The Plantation has never won an SEC regular season Championship in ANY men's sport with an integrated team. That defines irrelevance.

He was great. And he never talked over the moment.

He also called Montana to Clark to beat the Cowboys. I had forgotten about that.

One of the all time top announcers. Praying for his family.

As much as I loved the Braves Holy Trinity of Skip, Pete, & Ernie - Vin Scully was who I wanted to hear call post season games. He was the voice of baseball.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Always thought he had the best voice of any announcer. Well, he and Jack Buck. The baseball that man saw is unreal...........

I was taking about Jack Krystal. Jack Buck wasn't in Scully's league. Nobody was.

That was as classic as it gets. That was awesome. I didn't remember his AB being that many pitches.
