SEC fans: Worst to Best. What's your experience?

Friday afternoon lack of focus: Who has the best and worse SEC football fans?
Started trying to quantify it and came up with my worst to best list below.

Other than Vandy, all were State home games.

    Worst encounters
    Ole Miss, Auburn, UT, UGA

    Ok to no data
LSU, Ark, UK, USCe, FL, A&M, Vandy, Missou

    Best
    Bama

Ole Miss. 10+ games. lost count. stopped going they were so bad. lost count of being called NL MF. Last straw was whiskey bottle grazing Mom's shoulder and crashing at my feet
Auburn. 20+ games. 4 incidents. Worst was 3 mid to late 20s guys who took offense to 69yo Mom's "Hope y'all have a good time". They thought she was alone, she was not.
    UT. 7 games. 2 incidents.
UGA. 3 games. 1 incident. Closest to someone getting clubbed with multiple cowbells I've seen. Luckily we just escorted the gentlemen to their vehicle with no further issues.
Vandy. 3 games. no real problems, one racist idiot at the Smoot homework game first words to me "you don't have single white guy on your kick team". me "the kicker. rest must not be good enough"
    UK. 5-10 games. no problems
    USCe. 5-10 games. no problems
    FL. 5 games no problems
    A&M. 4 games. no problems
    Arkansas 10+ games. no problems.
    LSU. 20+ games. no problems.
Bama. 10+ games. no incidents. Nicest fans I've encountered
    Missou. no games

There's a strange divide with Auburn.
Other than the idiots at the games, the Auburn fans I've encountered and work with are the best.
With them you are either ok, or awful.

Unfortunately I've seen a fair amount of awful from our fans too.

At Tn - 1 game and will never go back - felt like one grain of maroon sand on a gigantic orange beach - hate that stadium.

At OM every time there- once, got pulled out of line on cold winter night and almost strip searched by a rent a cop as they just knew I had a concealed cowbell. Also got flipped off by my ex-sister in law OM fan as she drove by after we beat them. (Actually kind of nice.)

OM in Jackson and Starkville. Bama then LSU. In the Last game in Jackson the Pre game Fight on the field went into the stands right behind my group. Bunch of drunk rebs were starting fights around us then started with my group till one of their buds recognized me and told their buds to cool it or else. Then they started slinging at the security cops. Bunch of dumbshits.

Haven?t been to many away sec games.
Hands down LSU is the worst! This was quite awhile ago. MSU section was in the lower level corner of their stadium. Had drinks from the upper level thrown on us from about half time till we got up left. We were loosing badly. A friend of mine that was about five rows below us got hit in the back of his head by a whiskey pint bottle throw from the level above us. He went to the hospital and received 6 stitches. As returning to the car having to walk past tailgaters we had drunken older men and I do mean falling down drunk running at us and screaming every vulgar word you think of. These weren?t drunken frat boys but rather grown men that should have better self control. Upon reaching our car we found it had been keyed and had whiskey/coke drinks splattered all over it. I said I?d never return for a football game and I haven?t! I loath those foul people. They can go straight to hell as far as I?m concerned.

I went back for a baseball game thinking it wouldn?t be as bad as football game. It wasn?t quite as bad but we got heckled so bad we couldn?t enjoy the game. Ended up leaving and went to a bar to watch rest of game.

Been to Univ. Of Georgia no real problems actually was treated very nicely.

Been to the Univ of Alabama no real problems.

Been to Auburn no real problems again actually was treated nicely.

Never been to Ole Miss but attended several egg bowls in Jackson. My dad came very close to rearranging some drunken frat boys face from Ole Miss that were cursing my mother after a game.

Been to all stadiums except Mizzou and USCe and have never really had a bad experience outside of Oxford. Had a bunch there but I usually will give it back to them pretty good by the end of the game. LSU is always an interesting experience and you will be told you are Tiger Bait more times than you can count. Bama is generally awful too. Always love Auburn and UGA though. Some of the best college towns in the country and cool people.

I was there. That fight was like 5 rows down from me.

Arkansas fans in Little Rock. The worst.

I've had varied experiences at OM and Bama. In 99 there was some Bama fan obsessed with the the Dog Pound Rock. He would mock dance the DPR any time Bama did something good. He looked like an idiot and I think most people didn't get what he was doing. HahAha

I've seen whiskey bottles rain into the State section at Vaught. But I've also celebrated my tail off there and no reb said a word to me.

Auburn I have been to enough to say they are mild. We have won and lost and my experience was always the same, decent to good.

USCe is a great place to watch a game. They are so Laid back there and have a great venue and tailgating area. Its just a pain in the ass to get there.

Never had a bad experience with an opposing team's fan (only our own), but Bama fans are the worse (the non stop Rooolllll Tiiiddeee). LSU fans can be annoying, but they are fun to tailgate with. Rebels fans are 3rd on my naughty list. TAMU fans, although very weird, are usually well behaved as are Auburn, Ark and UF fans. Although we play UK every year, I can't recall anything about their fans. I've likely attended well over 100 games at DWS, but the only away games I've attended are LSU and OM.

I had a funny experience with an lsu fan when Burrow worked us over. He stopped at the elevator door on the third floor when he saw it full of State fans. I yelled from the back, "Come on in cat. These dogs won't bite." Everybody laughed and he rode down without incident.

The worst by far are the Arkansas fans at the Little Rock games.

Best fans in the SEC outside State goes to South Carolina. Went to the 2011 USCe/State game and my tickets were right next to the USCe fans. They were all very complimentary of Starkville, MSU as a whole. Invited my wife and I back to their tailgate after the game, but I wasn?t in the mood after losing that game by letting them go 80 yards toward the end of the 4th quarter. Reminded me of last years Ark game

Worst goes to Kentucky basketball fans. These aren?t just the worst fans in the SEC but the worst fans in sports. Biggest bandwagon you will find and just downright nasty. I actually cheer for Ole Miss over UK in basketball because of how horrid their fans are. There are a ton of them in Southwest PA/West Virginia area. It was great watching St Peters knock them out of the tournament last year. I could hear the bandwagon crash. Their football fans aren?t bad though because those are the actual UK graduates, but that ?big blue nation? is just on another level

    S tier: State, Bama alumni,
A tier: Arkansas, LSU (only if you're tailgating with them)
B tier: Auburn (my financial advisor is one so I feel obligated lest he bankrupt me), Texas AM,
    C tier: Florida, Georgia
D tier: LSU (if you aren't tailgating with them), Tennessee (would have ranked them lower but they provide a lot of amusement), Kentucky (they have gotten better though)
F tier: Bama (fans that didn't attend the university)
    Ole Miss tier: Ole Miss

I Have No Idea tier: Mizzou, South Carolina, Vandy

Was at the 2009 Bama game in Sec E. As you would guess about 10 Bama fans sit next to me on my row. Now these were all nice and 1st thing the guy sitting next to me said don't worry we all graduated from Bama. a few rows down there where some drunken Bama assholes who were finally told to leave. This guy said they were typical Bama fans who never went to Bama.
