What is your prediction on the OL by Game 3?

    Mississippi 7.5 over is -135
    Kentucky 8 over is -115
    Florida 7 over is -125
    SC 6 over -125
    LSU 7 under is -135

    Others from our schedule

    Arizona 2.5 over is -150
    Memphis 7.5 under is -140

Surprised at the Mississippi and Kentucky love
Not much confidence in LSU and Auburn which is warranted
Lots of confidence in A&M to win 9
Arizona and Memphis arent very good
This should really let all the folks predicting us to win 8, 9, or 10 to pump the brakes. 8 is doable, but it will be tough with that schedule.

    I don?t think we go 9-3. I think we go 7-5 or 8-4. I hope we go 12-0.
He's being way too obvious this year. He's saying 9-3 should be the floor so that when Leach doesn't get there, he can criticize him hard and point back at this as "proof" that Leach failed. It's classic C34, and it really doesn't fool anyone.

**** the schedule. It's the damn SEC. We have an elite coach in year 3. It's time to see some Texas Tech magic out there. Bo Bounds was on the radio this morning saying we'd have to scrape for 6 wins and 7 would be a mountain. If that's the case with a team as experienced as this one we are royally ****ed after this season.

We had to shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly to not win 8 games last year - and we still went 4-4 in the SEC. I think last year taught the team a lot of lessons and 9-10 wins is not out of the realm of possibilities - but it will need a season like '99 where the ball bounced our way a whole lot.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

We aren't winning 9 games. 9 means we go 9-1 against everyone besides bama and Georgia. Can't see it.

Games ranked in order of easiest to strongest:

    vs. ETSU
    vs. BGSU
    vs. Memphis
@ Arizona (still 10 pm kickoff scares me with Leach)
    vs. Auburn
    @ LSU
    @ OM
    vs. Ark
    @ UK
    vs. A&M
    vs. UGA
    @ Bama

If versus Aggy is our tenth toughest game, then we have ten winnable games.

Good list, and spot on except I would move @LSU below @UK. I think we win 8 regular season and win the bowl game. Losses @bama, UGA, @LSU and a random loss to someone else but we upset aTm at home to counteract it and get us to 8-4

Kentucky is a better football team than LSU in 2022.
I'd flip @Mississippi and home vs UPig

But that schedule is far from brutal with who the teams are in 2022. Even Georgia with all the people they lost is in play since the game is at home.

The SOS is ranked #1 in the nation for a reason. It’s not a cakewalk

Based on what? Nobody has played a down yet.

Tenn plays Fla, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, and Bama...has Pitt OOC who is better than anybody we play OOC.
Vandy plays Bama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tenn, Georgia, and Fla plus Wake Forest.
SC plays Clemson, UPig, A&M, Fla, Georgia, Tenn, and Kentucky. Our schedule is no tougher than theirs

It's the SEC- everybody plays a tough schedule

So the preseason top 25 is how the season always plays out right?

If this schedule isn’t tough why is ranked #1 in SOS ? They might have one team overrated but by any measure this is a tough schedule

Who said we didnt have a tough schedule? My take is that it's an SEC schedule and other SEC teams have just as tough of a schedule. Plus, we wont know until the end of the season who had the toughest schedule. Nobody has played a down of football- so just like the preseason top 25- it's just speculation.

A 247 writer said we had the toughest schedule. That's where all this comes from.
