MSU Athletic Department: DO NOT MOW THE GRASS THIS WEEK AT DWS
Make it a slow track and we will be going to a bowl game. OM won't beat us in a physical game.
OM hasn't won a game on grass since January 2009 in the Cotton Bowl.
We will see how committed our athletic department is to winning if they simply follow these simple instructions that are completely legal.
Hear that Bracky, don't stop this.
Sign this petition. We need to make sure this thread stays at the top of the board so someone will see it in the AD.

Reminds me how they used to say when Vince Coleman and Ricky Henderson played somewhere that the basepaths were basically knee deep mud. UM doesn't have a power back so water the hell out of that grass.

Turf and grass totally different as you already know. Quick cutting won't be so quick and smooth on grass. Someone here posted the numbers of Freeze's percentages on grass and its a losing one or something to that effect. The fact that they played 6 straight games on turf and now will have to play on slick damp grass will be an adjustment factor.

Yes, that was me. Ole Miss hasn't won a game on grass since January 2009 in the last game at the old Cotton Bowl.

Solid point, but the goal remain the same. Take away their shiftiness and make this a physical game.
Water the field down, throw an extra layer of sand on top of the grass, throw some fertilizer out tomorrow and see if the grass can grow, etc
There are endless possibilities that we can do to slow them down.
