ND looks very tight. Like, butthole around their necks tight.

What? OK has a kid throwing lights out right now (hitting 97) and they're tearing the cover off the ball and beat the 2nd best ACC team in supers. ND took out the best team in the country. Who has OM beaten? A shitty Miami team and USM? AU who isn't good? Come on....
Stop slobbing on that OM knob. They lost twice to two teams in this CWS.

Oklahoma talent is as good as anyone in the sec and notre dame obviously does too. Notre Dame just playing tight tonight as you said.

Texas looked like a little league team today.

LOL, but true. Sooners look the part. I think ND had a great run but it’s about to end. Gonna be interesting IF Aggies play ND.

Oklahoma does look good.

Well Oklahoma has a player named Tanner so I guess we have to go Boomer Sooner!

I haven’t watched much or know much about the Sooners, but the two games they have played so far looks legit.

I was surprised by the arms OK has got. I knew they could hit, but didn't think their pitching was strong. They've got some arms. Their ace getting back to 100% has really helped them out. Losing a good hitter game one could be costly later though.
Hopefully AR takes care of OM tomorrow.

Oklahoma is loaded with talented Freshmen and Sophomores too so they will be very good again next year, just like Mississippi State was this year with so much young talent returning.
Ooof. Did I just type that out loud?

COLLEGE WORLD SERIES ODDS FUTURES REPORT
Check out our full College World Series preview for matchup information and advanced metrics on each team.
Oklahoma Sooners (+175)
From College World Series longshot to a game away from the title series. Oklahoma is playing hotter than any team in the country, soundly beating their first two opponents. Peyton Graham is making his case for the tournament MVP after taking home the Big 12 Tournament’s most outstanding player once again. OU will take on the winner of the Notre Dame/Texas A&M elimination game on Wednesday.
Ole Miss Rebels (+300)
The least-talked about team in this field is headed to Omaha after making quick work of upstart Southern Miss. Tim Elko’s preseason promise of winning the CWS if the Rebels hit Omaha is still in play and no one is playing more sound baseball lately than Ole Miss. Don’t take your eye off this team. After taking down Auburn convincingly behind strong pitching, the Rebels jump to among the tournament favorites.
Arkansas Razorbacks (+330)
This team is built for the postseason and are out for redemption after coming up short in last year’s postseason as the No. 1 seed. Their rotation hasn’t let them down by any stretch, holding Oklahoma State and North Carolina to peanuts en route to toppling their brackets. The Razorbacks hung a CWS-record 17 runs on Stanford in their opening game and move onto division rival Ole Miss in their toughest challenge yet.
#5 Texas A&M Aggies (+1200)
The Aggies were facing elimination against Texas and saved their season with a resounding 10-2 win. While the battle is always uphill, Texas A&M gains some momentum moving into their elimination game against Notre Dame. The winner of this game plays Oklahoma– which both teams lost to– in the bracket final.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+1200)
Notre Dame’s roll was halted by Oklahoma in the second round and now the Irish are facing elimination. Pitching and defense have never been the problem, but their sometimes-stagnant offense has been. They take on Texas A&M in a loser-goes-home scenario. A&M has been hot at the plate– a potential real problem for Notre Dame.
#2 Stanford Cardinal (+2000)
Stanford’s inconsistent pitching bit them hard in the first game, giving up a CWS-record 17 runs to Arkansas. On the brink of elimination, the Cardinal face Auburn. The Tigers are capable of capitalizing on bad pitching, but burned through plenty of pitchers themselves in the opening game.
#14 Auburn Tigers (+3000)
It’s win or go home for the Auburn Tigers as they take on Stanford and their potent offense. Though Ole Miss’ pitching was excellent in their opening game, Auburn mustered just one run– they’ll have to do better than that against Stanford.

Will McEntire has emerged as a solid #2 for Arkansas over the last month with a 2.81 ERA but he just hasn't pitched a whole lot of innings this year so there isn't much of a track record to see if he can sustain it. Without him I doubt Arkansas makes it to Omaha though.

Who was Okie's ace? He's a beast.
-
Then there were six, Stanford Out. They were 2nd most favored club behind Texas.
Amazing, of the top-8 national seeds, only Texas A&M remains
No. 1 Tennessee (Knoxville) RIP via Notre Dame
No. 2 Stanford (Stanford) RIP via Auburn
No. 4 Virginia Tech (Blacksburg) RIP via Oklahoma
No. 5 Texas A&M (College Station) Alive, but in Losers bracket
No. 6 Miami (Miami) RIP via Ole Miss
No. 7 Oklahoma State (Stillwater) RIP via Arkansas
No. 8 East Carolina (Greenville) RIP via Texas

Auburn will stay alive but they have used Burkhalter for 2+ innings to do so. PAC-12 had the most overrated teams this year that I've seen in a long while relative to their seedings.
-
Burkhalter took a line drive off the ass too. It's the year of mediocrity in college baseball. Been some bad ball at the CWS and nobody is just great.

Yep so probably can't go tomorrow against Arkansas or Ole Miss, unless its super close I guess they may still bring him back out.
Man if Ole Miss wins tonight they are looking good.. and will be able to pitch their ace in game 1 on saturday on a weeks rest.
