Just read article on Genes Page regarding Duke transfer. A career .206 hitter? Wow, he does have a .966 fielding average, but what am I missing here to potentially fill a roster spot? Late inning defensive sub?

He is a graduate and can come participate in the fall. Lemo and crew will have the job of deciding who stays and who does not.

Yeah, the guy from Duke might end up being a defensive replacement late in games. That is probably his ceiling.
