Vols Baseball
Actually, I have watched very little baseball after our season ended. I did tune in to watch some of Tn baseball game. In saying this, I saw the disrespect the Coach and players have shown in the few innings a watched! Then I saw on the screen the number their lineup has with homers by each player. Gotta say like many have stated, something isn't right. Not sure about the bats or the roid thing, but again something ain't right. I have never cared for the Vol nation in sports, it all started for me when Fat as* Phil Fulmer was a coach and AD. Talk about a snake oil salesman. I read the story about him back stabbing Johhny Majors when he had a heart attack and was laid up and Fat As* was named intern. Now with this crazy ego baseball Coach and his tactics makes it worse for me. Their players and Coach disrespect the game for me. This ain't Pro Wrestling tactics to gain publicity, it's just down right disrespectful in my mind!

Programs like that will eventually have issues. Going to happen fast here I think.

Their starting pitching has been less than stellar this weekend. If that persists into next weekend then they could have issues with Notre Dame.

I haven't seen video evidence, but apparently one of their guys hit a HR and ran around the bases with his middle finger in the air.
This is not the direction I want to see college baseball go. And as MSU fans, I feel we have as much respect for the game as any program.

Maybe they are having to tone down the PEDS

I agree 100%. I can't stand their baseball coach and his players have taken to his identity. I hate it too, because I've lived in Tennessee for 9 months now and I can honestly say that the people are fantastic and it's a great place to live. I would be embarrassed is a State team acted this way or if we had a coach that was as big a douche as theirs.

They are a little more in your face than most but its all over college baseball. Even with our guys. Players have Double move they do at 2nd base. Every team has their HR ritual now. Pitchers talk shit to the other dugout constantly (ours do it too). It's just a new age of baseball antics
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Tenn baseball is the Miami hurricanes football of the 80s and early 90s. The bad boys of college baseball... I have no problem it

That fu@@er last night would catch a fastball to the head if I were the next pitcher.

Running around 1st base flipping the bird to the outfield is not “normal antics.” That’s bullshit and he would be wearing one in the head if he was to come back again. GT blew that game. Totally blew it.

Just shows a lack of class.....no matter who does it. Another reflection of society as a whole.

Yep and let me say IF I had a son that acting like the "new era" I would ban his inheritance! Things like this is what is wrong with society. No discipline.
Nothing wrong with being fired up and celebrating but do in the dugout.

Lol, yeah, they need the championship to complete it.

Nah 17 em all with a sawed off wooden baseball bat. Especially their coach....
-
Like em or hate em, they're getting people talking about college baseball, so that's probably a good thing for the sport

No- that’s a little much. But so is pimping a HR vs a SWAC team when you’re up 7 runs like LoTan did. Both deserve a FB in the earhole

Yup I agree with that. I believe bat flips should be saved for true emotional type hits. Like the bat flip that Big Hit Mack did against Stanford. Now that was powerful and would love to relive that....

Ya'll see the ump push the ECU player today as he paused just past the plate to admire his dinger? Looked similar to the ump yelling at Elijah.
