There's been interest from what I've been told but, I honestly think it's a long shot. I know he's not happy that he didn't get a shot when young went down and it looks like Milroe is the future and these kids aint interested in sitting and learning anymore. Obviously we have a little in with him because of his dad. Would be a great pickup but I'm not all warm and fuzzy about the chances, but in this day and age who know!

On one yes. The other is pretty much common sense. I'll be a little surprised if our next OC isn't Littrell or Hatcher.
I think the Simpson action is next year or after spring. I don't believe we're in pole position there either. We're going to be looking for an experienced QB.

Hatcher it is then. Assuming Rosey knows something. It was those two according to several people. I knew Kittley was out. Littrell is still getting paid. Rumor has been he's looking for a HC job.

I was told Littrell has removed his name from consideration. I think it's premium info from the other board.

Was also told Kittley's buy out was head coach level expensive that's why we moved on from him.

Seems Arnett might think similarly to what I was saying. He is prioritizing in state and putting together a staff tailored to lock down the state. we are going to start landing these guys again.

Lol. I can't believe i clicked this thread looking for recruiting news and was met with this continuation of a pointless argument from last week.

Assuming the Briles deal is a formality (seems to be), he and a someone he's bringing have Texas connections, so we're should be solid there. I'm all about MS, but we only have so many top recruits. We've got to get kids from Texas to Georgia. We can't win with just MS talent.

Agree that should be our formula. Lock down overlooked MS talent, get half from the top 10, a 1/2 from the top 3, fill in with connected out of state and transfers.
