    Robert Kirby to Ole Dixie

Sorta surprised but then again, the way things are now days anything goes!

I guess he was tired of Georgetown and maybe Kermit made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Kirby has been around the block a few times as an assistant.

All I know is that those last couple of years under Stansbury without Kirby were totally chaotic and the team was in disarray. Stansbury has really never been the same as a HC since he lost Kirby as his top assistant.

Kirby was let go by Georgetown. A decade ago this would’ve been big news.

He's the only warm body Kermit could find for a one year run.

Kirby was a huge asset to MSU back in the day. In the same vein as Howland, though, it seems his better days are in the past.

    What I’m thinking as well.
