    Most of us have said it all year a 14 win sec team is not getting left out of the post season. If it was gonna happen this would've been the year with the way things went in conference tournaments

    Yep! Although it looks like Ole Miss barely got in.

    Going to make firing him a little harder now.

    Recent history has shown that how you do in the SEC Tournament matters very little. Unless a team like Alabama won it and got the automatic bid.

    No idea why our fans thought a 14 win SEC teams with an RPI in the 40s would be left out. Some of our fans have such blinders with Ole Miss it?s laughable. Just like the people who say McDonnell wouldn?t take the Ole Miss job because he is best friends with Lemonis lol the things I read on here. Now maybe he won?t take the job because he is happy at UL but money talks if they pay him more.

    I don't think it's that. I think our fans tend to overvalue RPI sometimes.

    Yeah while rpi is important it's more important to teams not in the sec. When you play baseball in the best conference in the country the conference record is looked at more than rpi. A 14 win sec team has proven they deserve to be in.
