The only thing that gives me hope that Lemonis can flip the script...

Is that this was extremely humbling to him, and was his first ever taste of no postseason. He knows this is unacceptable, so let's see how he responds. Still extremely disappointed in him and his staff though. Injuries or not, we had the talent to make a Regional.

    His comments....

Exactly. The fact that we are last in TheSEC is unforgivable. To go from Natty to last in the SEC with 5 starters back and Clark and Yeager has to be on the Coaching staff. The fact that we have several pitchers that never got better. How can you be a SEC pitcher that can’t throw strikes. 97 mph and no ability to locate isn’t what we need.

John Cohen: "Chris, I am giving you the keys to the MSU Porsche"

Chris Lemonis: "I get it John, don't crash the Porsche"

Foxhall's seat is very hot for me. He can't help the injuries, but he can help the fact that very few of his pitchers actually improved from last year.

I'm not exactly fit and trim either, but I don't make 1.3 Mil per year to run a SEC baseball program.

These were highly rated pitchers when they got here that didn?t perform, at this level the players have much of the responsibility to get it done because you?re really not coming here to learn how to pitch, you?re supposed to already be able to. You can throw strikes if you?re not scared to (or if you?re not a head case)

We just need some of these pitchers we bring in here to pan out because we all thought they were good when we signed them, sometimes I wonder if the dude affect works against us because we have some big arms that crumbled under pressure.

Misshsaa Championships start Tuesday. JUCO World Series starts May 28th I think. That would be a good starting point.
We have to find a lot of good players very quickly.

    Everywhere!

JuCo: relatively simple. Stats to find prospects, game film to see if they look like SEC players.

    Portal: same thing.

Non-portal: Look at studs at small schools and mention to them that if they decided to transfer we'd love to have them.

HS recruiting: Work your asses off, no reason TN should be getting multiple true freshman pitchers that are better starters than anyone we have on the roster

I actually liked Lemonis when he was a little less fit and trim. Every coach we have that loses weight seems to perform worse.

Not at all, HS kids won't save us from a 7-23 record in the SEC in 2023.

The Cape, SoCon Tourney, SunBelt Tourney and Big 10 Tourney is where you go. Get some grown men.

Exactly. And I would add the PAC 12 to that list too.
