I think he has a huge year. Finally has a coach in college who will put him in a system and use him to his strengths.

As of now, yes. I would love to find another really good player to start but not hearing of any names right now.

I'm not sure what you guys see in Jeffries.

Nearly Every drive to the basket was awkward and usually resulted in a turnover or charge.

And like everyone else on the team, he wasn't a threat from the perimeter.

Maybe Jans and staff can refine his game, but I just don't see it.

Still searching for a Stretch 4. I expect business to pick up more on that when guys withdraw from the draft in the next couple weeks.

His previous 2 years he shot 38% from 3. Have to hope/think last year was anomaly. The whole team shooting went to shit last year.

Maybe MSU knows more about how to handle NIL than what people thought.

DJ Jeffries can be a really good player in the right position and system. Howland was basically playing him as a large guard, and that is a terrible fit for him. If he committed to play and defend in a Cam Matthews-like fashion, he would be like Cam--but better.

He played better defense than Cam last season.

If DJ can handle the 4 then that starting 5 would be really really good.

He could but I think they’d prefer more length if they could get it.
