    Women's basketball adds another transfer

Nyayongah Gony...transfer from Miami. Played her freshman season at Miami then sat out (COVID, and various other) last season. Listed 6-4 forward, very skilled, brings length, versatile, good perimeter shooter (including 3 point), and formerly ranked # 54 nationally. Chose Miami over Louisville, Florida State, Nebraska, and Purdue..coming out of high school.

Not sure what her problem has been, but I hope she has new life coming to Msu.

She only played about 10 mpg as a true Freshman at Miami and sat out last season because of Covid. She shot 32% from 3 at 6'4" so she will stretch the floor and can gaurd multiple positions.

We've got some length now. It was desperately needed. We'll see how skilled it is.
