Wind has a lot to do with that. Ball is carrying massively.

Not having a sinker ball guy on the mound today means this one will be in the L column

I wonder how many balls for both teams have been thrown and called strikes that were not swung at?

We have a triple by our #9 hitter and 3 infield singles. 1 fly out, 4 ground outs, 1 K.

Meanwhile Johnson has looked like Chesebrough throwing BP.

Too inconsistent to be a tourney team. If the hitting struggles, so does the pitching. Bad mixture.

Wind blowing out 20 mph so, of course, we bang the ball into the turf for easy ground outs. If the wind was blowing in we'd be skying the ball for easy pop outs.

Now 7 ground ball outs with a 20 mph wind blowing out. Their pitching plan is outstanding. Throw strike Ms at bottom of zone and make our batters pound it into the ground. He has made 2 mistakes getting the ball up and both ended up being Line Drive triples.

Meanwhile, Johnson is pitching up and the fly ball is being carried out of the park.

Maybe Johnson needs to pitch backward.

Better idea would be to pitch lower in the zone. Preston is a dinger machine......

I would love to say that would be great. But they aren?t swinging at the low pitch and this Ump sure ain?t gonna call it a strike.

You can?t take him out. He has k?d 9 through 3 innings. Any other time that is a perfect game.😳😳 But not in a Hurricane!
