    I'm of the opinion that on a muff, the gunner should just hold the returner. It's your guys that are facing the direction of the ball

    that is why Bama is throwing. Cincy, just doesn't have enough to hang. 1 drive yes. 2-4 drives, maybe. Eventually, cream rises to the top.

    The only way to do it, is make sure everything bounces your way. Missing the muff because the gunner didn't take out the returner hurts. Should be 6-10 at a minimum.
